Leased in April 2011, by cultural producers Frederico Reder Reder and Juliana, the Brainstorming Entertainment, after more than ten years without activities, Tereza Rachel Theatre had its reform initiated in the same year and intensified in January 2012. Its architectural design was conceived José Dias, the leading expert on revitalization theaters in Brazil. And has the NET as an official sponsor.

In early March 2012 the reopening of the theater happens to be officially announced in the media and on social networks, also announcing its name and slogan, Theatro NET Rio – For Rio, the Terezão is now.

Forty years after his first inauguration, the theater reopens its curtains on April 4, 2012, with guests from the artistic and business class, with the show “BIBI – Stories and Songs,” in which Bibi Ferreira celebrates its 90 years of life and 70-year career. And on the 7th of April to the general public.

The space has two rooms, with the largest, Room Tereza Rachel, with capacity for more than 622 seats and the smaller, Paulo Pontes Room, with 100 seats. The Theatro NET Rio aims to be the scene of all the arts.
