SNOB ANTIQUES, the most carioca of the antique shops with 63 years of tradition, style and good taste is a store that is part of the history of Rio de Janeiro under the direction of gaucho Pedro Scherer, who passed away five years ago, and in the trajectory of his professional life he added great recognition as the Title of Citizen Emeritus of Porto Alegre (Rio Grande do Sul), Title of Citizen Emeritus of Rio de Janeiro, Pedro Ernesto Medal Rio de Janeiro, in addition to three Krônika press trophies in the Culture area, Tourism and Social, delivered to the Rio Grande do Sul Press Association. Pedro Scherer signed by 40 columns in several national and international media, between them with his twin brother Paulo Scherer, VOGUE BRASIL magazine.
Pedro Scherer, together with his brother Paulo, are two of the founders of the Cultural Association of Friends of the Castro Maya Museums and the Association of Friends of the City Museum of Rio de Janeiro.
When SNOB ANTIGUIDADES installed itself in Shopping Cidade de Copacabana to focus on the antiques market, by experience, Pedro Scherer launched the fantasy name in national versus international media, as “Antiquaries Shopping”, as it is known worldwide as the largest concentration of antiques in Latin America, where art galleries are also found, o Theatro NET, decoration and design stores.
