Fifteen years ago, Odila Freire made a choice, and that choice, their life project.

Today, Atelier Odila Freire debuts and consolidates its trajectory, stating his personal style and his unique painting technique.

If we look back we will see that nothing is done so suddenly, and that behind this wonderful showcase, there is a story of many achievements.

Architect and artist, Odila joined their expertise to propose new clothes to wooden objects, a bold initiative fifteen years ago. He changed the pastels of Country painting by vibrant colors, innovating different combinations, mixing prints, stenciling, decoupage, and forming their own technique and style of painting.

The passion for painting made Odila assume every day greater challenges. Small wooden boxes, was used for large furniture, which after restoration, were transformed by the unique combination of colors and techniques used by Odila.

Objects to mobile and mobile to articulated dolls, turning raw wood into characters thoroughly stylized, where Odila is responsible for painting, manufacture of clothes, accessories and face design. It started with the Fridas which were then turned into Carmens, Amys, Tarsilas, Pin-ups, Chaplins, Clowns, Fairies, Little Princes and many others.

Who passes by Atelier knows that every day is a novelty because Odila not tired of creating and reinventing. All done for her and her assistant Marcia.
