MY STORY:

I was born under the sign of Scorpio on October 71 in Few of Caldas – Minas Gerais.

In 2001, at age 30, comes out of my self artist seeks.

As a self-taught, created techniques which apply textured flowers and leaves earning aspect fossilized and spatulas, give life to Vilarejo series.

Developed through extensive research and experiments, my color palette, which scores all of my work.

With geometric shapes, built in 3d wood and paint mandalas and Circles Collection.

The Pop Art is part of my work of portraiture, with my coming to Rio de Janeiro, in 2006. At that time, I tried my most intimate side, where I did and do a personal reading of my idols and icons. The passion for photography, it adds to my side of painter, awakening a new spell in my creations, inspired by urban scenes.

Abstract dawns in 2013, with an explosion of colors and paints, which involves a new concept of freedom in various decorative items, such as revolving trays, seats, frames, door-control, jewelry boxes, napkin holders, etc. … starting a new artistic cycle in my life.

The digital world has once again innovate and instigate my creativity, opening up a range of applications that enable my desire to democratize art.

9 years ago in São Pedro da Serra, Nova Friburgo, in permanent contact with nature and the Atlantic Forest, found me not only a more complete artist, but a more open-minded to new experiences, increasingly looking to integrate my art to this magical place.

Today in my studio and shop www.alessandravaz.com, I have a new product line with scanned and sublimated art – pads, mugs and sandals that add up to sousplats and placemats.

The gallery and shop are open during the weekends “basting” local tourism with colors and lots of art! And the shop is 24 hours in the air, to serve customers from any part of Brazil.
