MY STORY:

I was born under the sign of scorpion in October 71, in Poços de Caldas - Minas Gerais.

In 2001, to 30 years, go looking for my artist self.

As self-taught, I created textured techniques where I apply flowers and leaves that take on a fossilized aspect and with spatulas, I give life to the Vilarejo series.

Developed, through many research and experiments, my color palette, that punctuates all my work.

With geometric shapes, built in 3d wood and paints, mandalas and the Circles Collection.

Pop Art is part of my portrait work, with my coming to Rio de Janeiro, in 2006. At this moment, I sought my innermost side, where I did and do a personal reading of my idols and icons. The passion for photography, adds to my side as a painter, awakening a new magic in my creations, inspired by urban scenes.

The abstract emerges in 2013, with an explosion of colors and inks, that involves a new concept of freedom in various decorative objects, like rotating trays, banks, picture frames, control holders, jewelry case, napkin holder, etc… starting a new artistic cycle in my life.

The digital world is once again innovating and instigating my creativity, opening a range of applications, that enable my desire to democratize art.

There is 9 years, in São Pedro da Serra, Nova Friburgo, in permanent contact with nature and the Atlantic Forest, discovered in me, not just a more complete artist, but a person more open to new experiences, wanting more and more to integrate my art to this magical place.

Today in my studio and online store www.alessandravaz.com, I have a new product line with digitized and sublimatic art – pillows, mugs and sandals that add to sousplats and placemats.

The gallery and store are open during the weekends “brushing” local tourism with colors and lots of art! And the virtual store is on the air 24 hours, to serve customers from anywhere in Brazil.
