Brazilian athletes started the final stretch of preparation to compete in the Rio Paralympic Games 2016. Most of the participants are gathered in São Paulo, at the Brazilian Paralympic Training Center. Are competitors of 13 modalities, and another eight are already in preparation., but in different places.

"We have to have positive thinking going forward. This was a dream we had since four years ago, at the beginning of the cycle after London 2012. There's an anxiety to be able to be here now", said Vinicius Tranchezzi, goalkeeper of the Brazilian soccer team from 5, who is three-time Paralympic champion and goes in search of fourth in Rio de Janeiro.
"It is a great pleasure to be in the Brazilian team", said Rodrigo Melo, libero from the men's volleyball team sitting, current world runner-up in the sport.

The goal of the Brazilian Paralympic Committee (CPB) is to close the Games in fifth place on the medal table, two positions above what he got in London 2012. In this ocasion, were 21 gold medals, 14 silver and 8 bronze.
